Employees of KFEM are regarded as the company’s most valued assets. At the heart of the company’s ethos is a belief in the total development of staff potential.
This is achieved through KFEM’s Bi-Monthly Training Programme in which employees are exposed to both hard and soft skills training. The hard skills imparted relate directly to the staff’s work on-site and involve on-the-job issues such as “Common Asked Questions regarding BMSMA”, "Termite Management" and “Legal Procedures in Arrears Management”. On the other hand, soft skills training aims at enhancing the staff’s interpersonal and managerial abilities. Examples of the life skills imparted during this session include "Stress Management", "Effective Time Management" and "Change Your Beliefs, Change Your Life", among others.
Forums, which are held at the beginning of the bi-monthly training, also give the employees an opportunity for knowledge transfer and information exchange. On-site staff will learn to speak with confidence on matters raised in property management and this in turn helps to hone their public speaking skills. Selected suppliers of new products or technology are another noteworthy feature during the monthly training so that employees are kept abreast of the latest developments in the marketplace.
